Mac OSX System Sound(iTunes etc) Through DSPMixFX?

Hi,

I’m interested in one of the interfaces, maybe a UR816C, and was wondering if you could run these FX stand alone listening to an application like iTunes and using the Channel Strip to eq or compress the music on the main outputs?
