One more windows-function I can’t find back in the mac version… I was able to insert new recordings immediately in the audio montage. It was a checkbox in the recording window of the windows version. Still possible now?
The check box is missing, but what you want will happen if you call the Record dialog from the Montage Track menu.
It is planned to reintroduce the check box in the Record dialog.

Yes! Yes! Please allow for playback and record to start at the same command. 
Really looking forward to that. Yesterday, I had to record a intro text for an interview. The jingles were on the track, and I decided to do it “live”. I pushed record and started the track manually, and started talking. Automatically, you’re more in the correct rhythm then when you paste it in afterwards.
