Speaking of the “all clear from Steinberg”
Are we still waiting for them to OK Sierra? It looks like the warning about updating to Sierra has been removed from the Steinberg site for some reason. Confusing…
This is the email I got from NI on September, 20th.
" Dear NI user,
After intensive testing and close collaboration with Apple, we’re happy to report full compatibility and highly stable audio performance with all of our current-generation hardware and macOS Sierra."
Why do we have to wait 4 months every year with Steinberg? Why isn’t Steinberg collaborating with Apple like NI?
Looks like it’s back ; Best hold off still then I reckon 
Hey steinberg - are we OK to Upgrade to Sierra?
Confirmation came a while ago, 8.5.3 is compatible, turns out it was already as no new update came out to provide OS Sierra compatibility, it’s just that testing hadn’t been finished at that point.
