I made this small vst3 plugin to store and shoot key commands (macros, PLE, LE).
You only need to copy the vst3 folder to your default path and set this plugin as “always on top”.
I use it in a Control room insert, also it can be useful to place in the stereo out or a track in your template.
Auto Close workflow: Enable Auto Close, assign hotkeys to cells, then click a cell to execute
and close the window. Reopen it with the DAW’s editor toggle — it reopens ready so each cell
executes on the first click.
Hide Key for performance: Use the Hide Key toggle to hide all hotkey labels when
performing live — keeps the grid clean and uncluttered.
Double-click background: Quickly resets zoom to 100%.
Copy/Paste Style: Use Copy Style / Paste Style to quickly apply consistent colors and
formatting across multiple cells without affecting their hotkeys.
Cells can be dragged and reordered, grouped by colour, can save presets.
This is great! I’ve always wanted a toolbar with clickable buttons. I’d love to see a resizable GUI window so we can position it anywhere and make it fit perfectly. It would be awesome if the text scaled along with the window size as well.
Thanks for the update. The text scales now, but it becomes unreadable at small zoom factors.
To help fix this, is it possible to add an option to adjust the column width or row height manually?
Since I only have one monitor, my goal is to place this plugin in an empty area of my screen, such as directly above the control room. However, even when I switch the layout to 2 columns, the window is already too wide and overlaps with my workspace.
Allowing independent row and column sizing would give single-monitor users the flexibility needed to fit the plugin perfectly into tight layouts without losing readability.
New in v1.3: “vertical mode” and mouse wheel shortcuts: Shift + Scroll for zoom, Ctrl + Scroll for rows and Alt + Scroll to change columns on the fly. check the manual
Wow, just great. Now it can sit perfectly on my screen just above the control room.
The only thing I would love to see is to ‘save as’ a preset or rename a preset. I gave a preset a wrong name and I can’t rename it or copy it to another preset.

I noticed dragging buttons can be difficult (in my case 10x3 @ 70%). It’s difficult to see where the button will go eventually.
Would it be possible to have a multi-line text field where you can see the changes to the text immediately, before closing the menu?
I also notice that the ‘copy style’ button sometimes remains highlighted.
Creating a new button displays the hotkey, even though you set it to ‘hide’ in the menu. You will need to toggle the function off and on again.
Is it possible to make a global text size or to copy only the setting of the text size (without color background)?
Copy and Paste style won’t copy the text color.
Is it possible to hide the 6 dots in right upper corner and only show them when you hover over it? (it sits over the text sometimes)

it´s simple, the cell goes to whatever cell your mouse pointer is pointing

type the text, hit enter, in v1.3.1 or above the menu wont close

not for now but you may select several cells (with ctrl+click) and change any parameter for them at the same time

With hitting ENTER I can see the text changes, thx. But I only have one text line. If I want to place 2 words below each other I can’t, I would have to increase the text size which I rather not want. Maybe a SHIFT ENTER can give you this option?
Is it possible to have a floating menu? Sometimes the menu sits in front of the button I want to edit and then I first have to close it to reopen it on the button I want to edit.
Is it possible to have (as an option) square (1:1) buttons? For adding images that are mostly 1:1.

New in v1.45: Magnify mode (useful when you want a little ui in a corner), button to open manual, floating menus, keep image aspect, alt+enter to break line in name.
there are many ways to use Board, the way I´m using it is by setting a Control room Board instance, tiny ui (zoom 30) on the right zone, almost out of screen so it doesn´t bother, always opened on every workspace, with Vertical and Magnify activated.
