Hi everyone,
This is a mock-up of the first section from ‘Two Resolutions’, which is a piece I’m currently writing about the story of the pandemic.
‘Two Resolutions’ features string orchestra and choir, and contains tonal classical, atonal classical and jazz material.
The title of this section is ‘Dancing with Life and Death, Part 1’. It’s in ABBA format - the A section is a lament, the B section more cheerful, suggesting more innocent times, with a hat-tip to Claus Ogerman’s arrangements for Bossa Nova and Jazz artists of the 60s.
