The band librarian asked me to make the score on 11 x 17 (Tabloid), which I did in the Layout Options, but the image did not grow along with the paper size. What’s the next step to take?

OK - I used a larger rastral size but now I’d like to adjust the number of measures per system to avoid the notes cramming up against each other. I tried using the “Fixed number of bars per system” in the “Casting Off” section of the Layout Options, but that didn’t change anything - so obviously, I’m missing some critical knowledge. Any suggestions?

I might add that fixing the number of bars per system is often not the best solution, especially in a score where bars may differ in length considerably. IMO, fixed # of bars should be limited to e.g. drum parts with a very regular structure.
