I’ve adding the top notes of a part manually pressing the MBP Keyboard keys (A B C etc).
If I enter the second notes of the part using Chords and Lock to Duration on then the note will add above the note that is notated. When I press the octave down keys then it is ok. The second note is then also notated an octave to hight instead of the corrected note.How can I prevent from that?
I’m not sure I follow what you describe… Chord mode will always input the pitch class you enter above the topmost note already present, but you seem to be aware of that. Can you describe it differently?
