I am looking for piano note input in the manual. I know I need to use different voices to get proper alignment and to show the correct durations, etc., which is my initial concern. I haven’t quite found it yet and would like a link to the manual or a video,
I’m very confused, sorry. Here is a link to the manual about entering notes, but I fear that it is not what you’re after. If it’s not, can you explain a bit further what you need?
Thanks for chiming in. I have done plenty of note input, but I struggle with piano note input when, I believe, multiple voices are needed to view a properly created piano part.

Here is an excerpt from the beginning and I did a lot of juggling to get to this point. I see that a tutorial has been added to this thread and I am going to gratefully check it out.
Not quite what I was looking for.
You can change the voice of a note simply by selecting it and pressing V (it will cycle through all the voices you have created on that staff).
Your chords (bar 3 and 4) can all be in the same voice.
I’m not sure how you entered the tied C in bar 5, but the two other notes can be in one voice…

Thanks for your project example.
You only need to use different voices, if there are different rhythms at the same time.
For example, your left hand can all stay in one voice:
