I’ve been searching through older threads for enabling my Maschine Mikro MK2 controller for GA5 use in Cubase 10.
By programming the Machine controller software in Mackie midi mode, I have become able to trigger the GA5 kit pads in
- either GA5 in Cubase
- or GA5 standalone.
That’s great to get going.
But now I’m struggling to find a way to integrate other Maschine knobs and buttons, beginning with the “Play” and “record” buttons.
2 questions:
a) which is the best way to achieve transport control (CC messages or MCU codes, both available within the Maschine controller software)
b) which codes does GA5, within Cubase or in standalone mode, expect to play/stop/record GA5 midi patterns?
