Master Section Bypass Switch leaves Sample Rate Conversion Active (ASIO Glitches)

Hi there,

I just discovered that when using the main Master section bypass switch (top left), the Resampling section remains active, causing ASIO glitches. The audio interface still runs at 48000 Hz but I believe WaveLab is trying to send 44100 Hz to the audio interface.

Workaround: Manually disable Resampling by clicking on the green button next to it.

I know it’s only a very minor bug, but thought I’d report it in case anyone else has the same issue and can’t figure out why playback is glitching.

I’m on Windows 11 Pro 24H2 and WaveLab 12.0.51 and 13.0.00 both exhibit the same behaviour.

I never noticed such an issue while working with WaveLab 12 and earlier, nor with a quick test in both 12.0.51 and 13.0.00.
For me WaveLab just stops playback if I either toggle the Resampler or the Master Section Bypass on or off, which feels like a logical step to avoid conflicts. Maybe this is a driver related thing? Personally I run a RME ADI-2 DAC.
