Mastering in Cubase - I ran out of insert slots!

Is there a way to create additional insert slots on the Master bus? I ran out when setting up my mastering chain!

Channel inserts + route to a bus + master bus: you get 8+8+8 inserts that way. Still need more? Route through more busses. Or get something like iZotope Ozone.

To be honest, I have never needed more than 8, and that’s when the source material was total trash and should have been mixed again, not mastered. What is it you’re trying to achieve?

Totally agree… if you ran out of inserts while “mastering” you’re doing something really bizarre.
