Matching Classic Machines kits when bringing Cubasis project into Cubase

Hi,

I’ve just been travelling and writing new music in Cubasis. Which has been great and the results are high quality.

Now I’m back I want to bring the tracks into Cubase 15, and do some tidying up and swap some FX like Reverb and delay to my gotos in Cubase.

Using DawProject does a great job and most FX and synths map straight into Cubase and are pretty much bang on in terms of sound.

Only sticking point is drums. I’ve used several Classic Machines kits and I really like their sound, but I can’t see a way to easily map these…eg are there any Halion Kits or Groove Agent kits that map against Classic Machines?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

We’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying using Cubasis, and that transferring your projects to Cubase via DAWproject support works well.

While Classic Machines are exclusive to Cubasis, I will check with our HALion team to identify the best possible equivalent on desktop.

Alternatively, you can also freeze these tracks in Cubasis and transfer them as audio tracks to Cubase.

Please give the Cubase Drum Machine a try, as it includes a variety of vintage-inspired drum machine kits as well.
