maya 22 usb and cubase 5 troubleshoot

I have the Maya22 USB with the latest driver 1.8 so far was working fine … after sometime i decide i wanted to record again i just couldn’t record i could hear any sound or record anything or any input indicators from soundcard or cubase 5 any ideas why . . i gone crazy looking for a solution please help

My specs win 7 64 bit

i found the problem … it was the usbport.sys … cubase could see my card driver on but it wasn’t working proper cos of that sys file . i replaced it and now is working . i hope i could help many people having that issue or similar
