ive been using cubase for years with no sample import issues but since i updated too c12 im having problems.
i can listen and audition samples and cubase content in mediabay and the right hand loops and samples tab…but once i click on them they import out of key/play slow/out of time.
my cubase 12 is project set too 48khz/16bit and im using windows 10 if anyone can help id appreciate it thanks
Typically this is because the sample rates for the Project and the Audio don’t match. By default Cubase will prompt you to convert the sample rate of the Audio File when Importing. I think there is a “don’t show me this again” checkbox for that dialog - which likely got checked at some point. You can adjust these setting in Preferences.
