MediaBay make Nuendo 5.5 hang

When I perform rescanning in MadiaBay Nuendo hangs.
Any idea?

Is it possible and smart to delete the database and re-build? If so: Which file(s) do I delete (on Mac)?

…I just ran into the same issue a few minutes ago, when deleting a folder from database.
But I have to admit that was my very first mediabay-hanging ever!

I guess the problem may be that I marked my hard disk so every file on the disk is scanned.

I want to return to default. Is there a place I can find which folders should be marked for scanning?
