This should seem simple, but I can’t drag a selection box in the melodic pattern editor, it just sets notes. It seems intuitive for the pattern editor but I would like to just copy and paste a pattern further ahead in the event.
I tried ctrl , alt or shift modifiers but to no avail. isn’t it simply not available ?
Yeah, it does–but I’ve never seen it in a pattern editor.
Not that I know of–but you can accomplish the same thing by duplicating the pattern to use as a separate event. Your patterns don’t have to all be the same length.
It looks like the designer has a different view on the work flow.
Make a pattern or several, convert them to midi, and edit the patterns in key editor.
