Menu’s compressed in Dorico for Ipad

I am working with Dorico on iPad with a subscription. In the Word preferences, there are menu’s n te visible. I tried everything. Is this a bug? What’s wrong?

Can you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing? It’s not normal!

Is your iPad vertical or horizontal? Vertical will cut off menus.

It looks like you have Engraving Options on Dorico for iPad?

Indeed I have a subscription

I work horizontal

Ah sorry, founded! It’s not Engraving Options but just Chord Symbols.
Well, it seems to work correctly here…

After a few tries, I just see that if I open this options window in portrait mode, there are some oddities that look like what you’re showing, but everything goes back to normal in landscape…

Further investigation: if I close Dorico while it’s in portrait mode and then reopen it in landscape, I get problems:

But it’s solved by just doing a back and forth Portrait>Landscape…

Solution doesn’t work

Taling a wild stab here…

Do you have, in your iPad settings, either Accessibility or Display settings to use a larger text size? (I know that doesn’t play well with some browsers)!

Also, what version ios are you running? And what generation iPad?

iPad 2025 model, always latent update

Mine is an older model 8th gen); and I’m updating it now. I haven’t been able to reproduce this at all! Has this been happening all along, or is it recent?

All long :-(, i have Dorico lessons on my academy from a composer and hé Finder it also very strange…

I’m really hoping someone else can chime in as I am at a loss as to why this is happening.

Grasping at straws….. Can you “Reset to Factory”? (You would lose any changes you have made). Or even re-download the app?

:warning::warning::warning: Some people mentionned they lost (some of) their projets by doing this, I think!
