Metagrid commands broken in Cubase 15.0.20

Most of the Metagrid commands are broken now. If I open project in Cubase 14 all works.

Has anyone had time to look into this?

Is this announcement related to the next announcement in
Cubase Studio Setup Generic Remote: “Legacy Information: The Setup provided on this page will be discontinued. Please use MIDI Remote in the lower zone of the Project window.”?
I’m also wondering when this will happen and will Metagrid still work at all after?

Anyway, I can’t get it to work on my own anymore. MG is an important part of my workflow now and if it doesn’t work anymore, I have to go back to Cubase 14
Same problem also occurs in Nuendo 15.0.20

Also, try exporting your Generic Remotes from Cubase 14, and re-import into 15.

Cubase 15.0.20 Major Bug

Hi, I just updated and immediately found a bug. All of my Logical Editor presets that adjust velocity and CC are now broken. An example is: Type is Equal To Note Value 2 | set to a fixed value | 100 The “+100” has now been changed to 0. This goes on for all my Logical presets. So I have presets that change the velocity value to 100, or 127 or 60 as well as presets that bump up various CC by +5 or -5. They now all say 0. This is affecting 20+ logical presets and I’ve only just started to…

That would seem to be a likely cause of the problem. I re-imported Generic Remotes from Cubase 14, but this does not help.

I also strongly agree that the Remote Devices (legacy) Generic Remote should not be removed from Cubase but rather developed further.

I don’t think the user should have to do any programming work that isn’t directly related to composing music, mixing a movie, etc., which I think is programming and making the control surfaces and knobs work in Cubase is. At least I don’t have the time to learn any of that stuff, let alone the interest in learning that kind of programming.

I’ve already wasted half a day trying to figure this out. At first I thought I had broken the system myself, but now it turns out that I hadn’t. Not to mention where the hell the inspiration to make music went…
