Meter deletes when part of selection

When I select more than one bar of music on one line, (for example, the clarinet 2 part), if there is a meter change within the selection, the meter is highlighted in all the parts and when I delete the notes in the clarinet 2 part, the meter is deleted from all the parts.

Any solutions? Thanks!

Ctr-click the meter to take it out of selection before deleting…
I understand next update will offer filtering options, which will certainly make things much better !
