Metric modulation over bar line

I’ve searched using a few different terms and can’t seem to find a topic about this:

Can metric modulations be positioned above bar lines without having to enter them as system text and dragging? NB I also want separate tempo indications at beginning of bar.

Eg I want a tempo indication at/above bar 8 as usual, with a small metric modulation above the bar line between bars 7-8.

If you want both a tempo equation and a new tempo marking at the same position, you’ll have to fake one of them using a text item.
