I want to use the metronome and the count in. I activated both but on the bar at the bottom of the screen and in de Control Room (right zone). No result. I think I’m forgetting something which I have not learnt yet. What is the procedure , and where can I vind it?
Thank you.
Please read the manual.
In Cubase, there is a help menu that will get you to the manual.
I read the manual several times, I can’t find it.
There are two different metronomes: MIDI and audio.
The MIDI metronome would send a note message to a midi port. Great if you happen to work with a lot of hardware synthesizers.
The audio metronome is probably what you should activate. It basically plays back small audio samples as the click sound.
If the issue still persists kindly upload a screenshot from your metronome setup dialog here. You can copy & paste a screenshot from your clipboard directly into a post.
If you use Control Room you may need to activate it in the CR panel on the right.
Yes. I did that.
In the mean time I siacovered Project>signature track>render midi click between locators. That worked.
What is displayed when you click here…?
when I click there: Stereo Out
Your settings look alright to me. You are getting audio out but no sound from the metronome at all? And you have double-checked that both the general metronome as well as the control room metronome are activated?
hello johnny. The situation is now, that in the mean time I discovered Project>signature track>render midi click between locators. That workes. So now I hear the metronome. I can use that as a count in. I think that for now my questions are answered. Thank you for your help.
