It appears that metronome marks following tempo indication (e.g. Andante (q = ca. 70) cannot be put in brackets in Dorico. I tried doing so as in the example here, the result comes out with the brackets before the metronome mark. Like the newbie I am, I may be missing something or, perhaps, Dorico doesn’t currently support this? Please enlighten.
You can do this by switching on the ‘Parenthesized’ property in the Properties panel with the tempo marking selected.
