Metronome Set-up - click pattern how-to?

Metronome setup / Click Patterns
The metronome is from start 4/4 with up beat on 1. I wish to use the pattern 1/4. However, whatever I try to do by clicking on it, the pattern does not change. It stays always 4/4.
How can I change it to 1/4.

Tempo track set to 1/4, adjust speed as you like.

However bizarre that you cannot do it through the Metronome Set Up /click Pattern…

I suspect that with such an insanely easy workaround the priority to adjust this just wasn’t there…
