Where are the stock metronome beeps located on OSX? If I change the stock sounds to my own WAV files, will Cubase downgrade the bit rate and rez?

Hi,

Yes, Cubase resamples the imported WAV, which is used as a metronome.

Thanks Martin - does it matter where I store the WAV files? I’d like the park them in the original folder where the stock beeps are stored but can’t find it.

No, you can store your files in any location.

Actually, I think the original sound is somehow hidden. I have never found it.

I don’t think there are any “files” as such only generated tones.
