I’ve tried everything and I can’t get sounds coming thru my Focusrite to Cubase 8. I can hear it in my monitoring headphones but there is NO sound on cubase 8. I’ve tried everything please help. Thank you.
I have a Rode Nt1A and nothing. Please just tell me what i have to do to get the mic to record. makes no sense why it doesn’t work. Thanks

Have you read the manual and followed instructions regarding VST connections?
Hit f4. Set up the connections to Cubase. Then record arm the track, click the monitor icon (little speaker) and press record - it’s all in the manual.
