Mid-cue clef change question

I’m having a bit of an issue with a cello cue in an orchestral piece.

The cello part switches clefs midway, to tenor clef, because it’s too high for bass clef.
This also happens midway through a beamed group (a triplet of 16th notes beamed to four 32nd notes.)

The problem is, the clef isn’t showing in any cues, which means the cue covers WAY to much vertical space without that clef change.

I tried making two cues, but the beams don’t connect if I do that, and there’s a weird visual artifact of the beams from both cues stretching all the way to the end of the staff, with no possibility of shortening them.

Is there any idea whether or not cues will handle mid-cue clef changes in the future?

You can still insert clefs inside a cue using the caret, but it takes a few steps: first input the tenor clef, then reinsert the bass clef at the beginning, and finally hide the clefs locally in the score.

for some reason, it worked this time.
I tried and tried, entering the clef for the cue, but it simply would not do it.

It WOULD be nice, however, if Dorico had an option to keep clef changes within cues.

Thanks for pointing me toward a solution.
