I want to create a staff bracket in the middle of a system. Is there a way to achieve this naturally (see the attachment)? I couldn’t find a way nor anything related in the forum.
This is similar to a question that I posed a while back. It seems that for the time being your best bet is to go to the SMuFL library and select that bracket and copy and paste it into a text box by pressing Shift+X and changing the font style to “music”. You can then size the symbol as needed and place right where you want it. Unfortunately, this will not take care of any spacing so it may not be very elegant looking until the forthcoming update (1.1) where you will be able to manually adjust spacing.
