I have two midex 8s which I’ve loved using over the years. I currently have a problem where I’m missing ports. Can’t see 'em. I’ve check device setup in Cubase, they are not even on the list to be made active. Ports are missing in another midi program I use too.
Is there any way I can get the missing ports to be visible? Maybe a reinstall? Not eve sure I’d know how to do that at this point. Been so long.

I have the same issue. Ports are gone. Not available in the Midi Device Manager, nor visible in Studio Swtup - Midi Port Setup. Upgraded recently to Cubase 11, don’t recall having these issues before.
I migrated to a new computer a few months ago. same problem. Oh well. I have enough ports to make it work, but it’s annoying. Would love to see a midi 2 interface by Steiny.
Are you on Mac or Windows? In Windows, you can enable and disable individual Midex 8 ports.
