Background: MIDI streams can contain lyrics. E.g. when y ou export MIDI from a Sibelius vocal score, then import it into a sequencer like Harmony Assistant, the lyrics are transmitted with the midi and are imported correctly.
Question: Does the MIDI transmitted to a VSTi virtual instrument contain the lyrics? E.g. could you write a VSTI virtual instrument that would be output the vocal line with the words?
