MIDI bounce bug

Steps:

-Open a new project
-Open Key Commands
-Under “MIDI” assign “Bounce MIDI” to Ctrl + Alt + B

Open a new midi track with All midi inputs, but outputs not assigned to anything.
Record some random midi notes.
Select all the midi notes with your cursor
Hit Ctrl + Alt + B
A serious error has occured…

Also, I know this isnt the correct use for the bounce midi function, but nevertheless its not a good sign to see this error message.
