Hi,
I have a generic Yamaha piano (YPT-210) connected to my computer via a USB midi cable. When i press a note in cubase nothing happens. I have a VST track setup going to Halion Sonic SE and the bars at the bottom of the screen don’t move. When i use the Key Editor on a midi track with the output of the keyboard the keyboard makes a sound. I am using Windows 7 32-Bit. I had cubase working on XP before and it worked fine!
Is the keyboard set up in the MIDI Device Manager as a GM device? And is the right port selected for the input in your track inspector?
