Running cubase 7 on a new Imac mountain lion 10.8.3…8 gig memory…I also work with lightwave 3d…after using lightwave and if I go into cubase my audio device i can hear my music…but if I try to record a midi piece…no midi is recorded…to solve this problem I need to go into a another music program to RESET the midi driver, then all is well…doesnt Cubase 7 have a midi reset button?..in device setup you can change audio devices from internal to external but even resetting that will not reset midi…any ideas?..is it a midi driver or a audio driver problem…using a presonus firewire thru thunderbolt.
