Midi export without CC, Automations etc…

Hello

How do I export in Dorico 4 the Midi-files, so that there are no CC-Data, Automations etc. saved in these files except the tempo…

I would like to import the midi files in Cubase 12 without any key changes etc… (except the tempo -if possible…)

There’s no “one click” way to do this, but you can do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Do File > Save As to save a copy of your project under a new name, so you don’t risk overwriting the one that contains all the playback data you want to retain.
  2. Choose Play > Playback Template and apply the HSSE (SE) playback template, which will eliminate key switches and any automatic MIDI CC values.
  3. Choose Play > Automation > Remove All Automation to remove any MIDI CC data you’ve recorded or added.

Now export your MIDI file.
