MIDI Input Channel?

I am doing MIDI input from my keyboard on MIDI Channel 2 and/or 6 but in the MIDI Monitor plug-in, the notes and controller information are only on MIDI Channel 1.

Is this a bug or a preference setting that I need to make? Thanks, CS.

I think this will answer your question…

If it’s an instrument track output is always on channel 1.

If it’s a midi track and yo want the output channel to correspond to the input channel, select “any” as the channel for the track

Ah, yes, I had forgotten about that and it was an instrument channel. I tried it with a regular MIDI Channel and it displays the channel of the MIDI Instrument.
