Is it possible to automate the preset changes of a midi insert? Specifically, I’m using the microtuner and I have several presets (tunings). Using the automated parameters is too complicated, as each tuning change would involve a change in most or all (12) of the individual keys (there’s a separate automation parameter for each). So I need a command for changing from one tuning preset to another or some workaround.
Personally I’d run separate midi tracks each with its respective midi insert routed to the same instrument.
Yes, that could be done, but in my (rather special) case I would then have to split each midi track into numerous tracks, each with its own midi insert, because the presets keep changing frequently. Maybe by using folders for the sub-tracks I could make this manageable. I’ll look into it.
So changing presets can not be automated, then?
