i’m having a problem with midi recording. While i record, i’m in click and the timing sounds right. But when I listen to the recorded midi its off 1/16 and varies arbitrarily and just sounds cut off and synthetic. I’ve tried all the quantising options aviable, but they don’t seem to do a lot. All i want is to have on record what I’ve heard myself playing. My Idea was to treat the VI (The Grand 3) as an audio source for that reason, but I haven’t found a way to route it in a way it would work.
By the way, recording in the Grand 3 Standalone works just fine. It’s as if Cubase 8 is live quantizing or something…
