When I connected my midi to nuendo properly through stuidio setup, I even can use midi to control mute or solo staff. But after I create a instrument track, I can only hear the instrument through clicking inside keyboard but not through playing my midi keyboard. Also there is no signal detected by audio activity but it can be detected by midi activity. I also checked the routine, the input is my midi keyboard, and I only can choose stereo out output, I don’t know if this is the problem. Also my midi functions well in kontakt portable, it just does not work in nuendo. I have no clue how to fit it, please help me!

As you mentioned, you can control Mute and Solo from the keyboard, isn’t the MIDI Port eaten by the Remote Device system, you are using? What MIDI keyboard do you have? Do you use Mackie Control or other protocol?
