MIDI keyboard does not hold / plays key per beat / only one note per time in chords

I updated from Cubase Artist 11 to Artist 12. Since the update I can’t get my MIDI keyboard to hold/sustain keys anymore. Instead; when I press a key it produces a sound from the virtual instrument per beat. When I hold a chord, it loops through the notes in the chord instead of playing all notes in the same time.

I have this issue with all my virual instruments.
I’m using a Novation Launchkey Mini MIDI controller and a Windows 11 machine.

Is there any solution to this problem, or is it maybe just a setting I cannot find?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

To me it sounds like any arpeggiator is enabled. It could also at your MIDI keyboard.

I have no effects in the MIDI Insert tab. It also produces the same problem on all tracks, also after restarting Cubase and opening an empty project.
