Midi keyboard - Dorico lost connection

Hello,
for the first time Dorico somehow lost connection to my MIDI keyboard - so I can’t input music with it.
I restarted the computer - it did not help.
I am on Mac Tahoe, and I can see that MIDI is definitely coming from that keyboard, if I type some keys of it - but they don’t seem to arrive at Dorico.
Is there anything I can supply to get this sorted out?

MIDI messages, when playing notes:

You’ve checked Dorico’s Preferences > Play > Midi Input Devices?

Thank you Ben, someone had to put my nose onto it. I am back running and happy customer again..

When I go to Preferences and Play, I don’t see Midi Input Device as an option to choose.

It’s here…

If you don’t see anything, then Dorico has not detected the keyboard.
IIRC you should connect the Midi keyboard before you open Dorico.

(Perhaps you have a dodgy cable?)

O.K. I found the Midi Input Devices section but it is blank. Not sure how to check the cables except to buy new ones.

Does the keyboard work with other programs?
Do things work if you shutdown and restart?

I will try

Janus,

The shut down and restart fixed the problem.

Thank you.
