Midi Keyboard recognized in Cubase but not standalone version of Halion Sonic 3

I cannot seem to connect my Panoram Nektar MIDI keyboard in the standalone version of Halion Sonic 3. I can see the signal when I push the keys on the keyboard. The virtual keyboard on the screen works too. What is really odd is than I can use it while in Cubase 10.5. No issue at all.

For MIDI inputs in Halion Sonic 3 I am using “All MIdI” inputs and I do see the relevant Nektar midi inputs as I do in Cubase.

Not sure why this is an issue in the standalone version of HS3.

Any ideas?

Thanks

i have another issue where standalone doesnt see the midi or audio , so i imagine its a bug , mine is halion 6 and the grand
