Hi all,

I am having a senior moment.

How do I write midi events into the midi editor using a midi keyboard step by step, i.e. I press G1 and a g quaver appears in the piano roll, then I press another note and it appears on the next quaver.

Step input button in the toolbar, manul p. 501.

You probably know this already, but if not, you can also select the draw tool and click the notes where you want them.
Then you can drag & drop them around and also use the arrow keys for up & down placement.

I hear ya!! (and I consider myself a real 'MIDIot’).

Last week I wanted to insert a MIDI cc message at a certain point and could not figure it.

So like a nubie; back to the manual. Back to school.

Funny thing is, that also works.
