Midi Loops for Idiots needed

Can anyone please explain, in the simplest terms possible, how the factory midi loops in the Media Bay ‘work’? They seem like really great audio loops, but when you click to add to a project, it just adds a (seemingly empty) instrument track to the project.

I did search first but couldn’t find this previously addressed in the forum.

When you preview them, the different “tracks” default to generic instruments like, piano, bass, etc.
When you insert them into your project they are just MIDI. You need to send those MIDI tracks to instruments to make sound.
