I’m using cubase 14 pro and am trying to get midi modifiers to work. I want to filter out all notes lower than C-2 and all notes higher that C-4. Ive set the range in midi modifiers but its not working, the lower notes are still sounding, ive attached a screenshot, can anyone tell me where i’m going wrong here ?

Use the Note Limit instead of Note Filter, please. Filter keeps the notes within the Filter. Note Limit is the opposite.
Btw, by default, the setting should apply for playback only. If you want to filter them on recording already, drag the divider down bellow the MISI Insert, please.

@Martin.Jirsak : “Note Filter keeps the notes within…” Isn’t that what he wanted - to keep the notes between the Range and filter out above and below?
Maybe I misunderstood but the filter works as expected here and I only hear the notes in between with the setting “Note Filter”, the ones above and below are muted now!

There are no notes lower than C-2. That’s the lowest MIDI note you can enter.

managed to figure that out eventually, I was looking at the keyboard in the midi editor and the notes I wanted to filter out were below C2 on the keyboard
