I’ve got a really weird major midi issue going on with Cubase right now. Cubase recognises I have midi inputs but when used no midi within Cubase is produced.
I have tried re installing the latest updated, restarting my PC multiple times but to no avail.
What’s weirder is that my komplete kontrol keyboard works absolutely fine. My midi faders / synths etc just don’t seem to be picked up.
I have tried and online midi message viewer and everything is picked up on there just not cubase for some reason!

I should also mention that standalone kontakt works fine and recieves midi from my moog & midi faders (ghost note audio conductor)

What kind of MIDI Channel is set for the Input? Is it set to Any?
Double-check the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter. By default, only the SysEx filter is enabled for both Record and Thru. You can attach a screenshot.
Also, attach a screenshot of the Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI Ports Setup, please.

Input is set to any, please see snips below of the other 2 points. On another note, for some reason Cubase can no longer find kontakt 5 when loading up a project, so not sure if something has happened in the background and now cubase is blocking kontakt / midi for some weird reason.

In the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter, try to click on Channel 1. Is the Channel 1 button lighter after you click on it? If yes, then click on it again (to make it darker). If not, click on all channels one by one to make them darker.
Do you use any Remote Devices? Is any Remote Device using your MIDI Keyboard as the MIDI Input Port?
In the MIDI Port Setup, click on the icon in the Monitor column (for your MIDI Keyboard Input). Play the keyboard. Can you see the MIDI data in the MIDI Monitor?

I can select channel 1 and it starts dark when I click on it.
I have a couple of generic remotes set up to use with metagrid but I deleted and re added them last night.
On midi monitoring, I can see info for just the komplete keyboard. No activity showing for moog or midi faders.
Weirdly, it all started working again last night after a while but then I’ve come back today and it’s not working again.
EDIT: I might have to test this again but it seems turning everything off (moog etc) and turning it back on it’s now being picked up by Cubase.
