Sorry for the silly question but I’m not finding where to set up this option again after I had deactivated “Uses the Up Arrow/Down Arrow keys for track selection, not for event/part selection” in Preferences, that I had check to test it…
I was used to do this and I I’d love that I could go back to do that…
My keyboard is ok (tested on other softwares…)
p.s. By the way: I think a “search” option in the preferences window would be really very helpful!..
Thanks for helping!

Sorry, but I’m not sure what you are asking… You can’t find what is in the screenshot?
Agreed.
HI @BobUpstairs,
I was not very clear, actually…
In other words: I always used arrows in MIDI Editor to move notes up and down, one semitone or an octave (arrow up/down+shift) but yesterday I realized that key command didn’t run anymore; the question, then, is: how to restore it… (I wouldn’t restore Classic Cubase prefs globally because I saved a lot of personal shortcuts along the way…)
[I uploaded that picture because I suspected having set that preference for a while could. have been the cause of the problem but I didn’t solve it even after I deactivated the pref… ]
Thank you for answering

Solved! I saved my preset, opened the Classic Cubase one and I noticed the simplest and more obvious thing: for some reason (probably activating the preference in the picture, I guess) I had lost the two shortcuts up and down (arrow up and arrow down) in edit > key commands > navigate; once I reset them everything was ok again
Reading your first response I began thinking … keyboard shortcuts!!
Glad you’re working.
Thank you Bob, I’m ok now
