Midi only goes to program slot 1

Hi There,
seems like a simple/stupid issue, but all my midi data goes only to program slot 1. If I load another sound in slot 2 and have it select (orange frame indication) my keyboard only triggers the sound from slot 1. I must be missing something.

Check MIDI channels. I think slot 2 defaults to channel 2.
