MIDI out to VST possible? (digitone)

Hi guys, I’m new to sheet music, I’ve managed to make MuseScore play using my digitone , is that possible with Dorico?

Welcome to the forum @wildfluss.

I’m not familiar with MuseScore or the digitone. Can you explain what it does? I’m interested even if I can’t help!

Hi @wildfluss, from a quick search it seems like the digitone comes with a VST plug-in (the Overbridge) that can be used in a DAW. If this is the case it should probably appear in the VST list under VST and Midi in play mode, so that you can load it there and assign it to a track in Track inspector.
Not sure, thought. Try it:

@DanielMuzMurray sorry, Daniel, yes, digitone is a synth which can be connected to computer and it comes with Overbridge software which provides VST plugins which you’ve seen on MuseScore screenshots where I could pick that plugin as “play” device

Thank you @Christian_R , I don’t see VST and Midi altogether in my free Dorico version , so I’m downloading Trial.

If this is a MIDI hardware instrument, which is recognised by macOS, then yes, you can send MIDI out to it from Dorico, using the MIDI Instruments panel in Play mode (VST and MIDI).

Thank you, @benwiggy , looks like it was under Play button and not in Dorico Preferences where I was looking for everything

Just for future references here how it looks like to play sheet using digitone and use it as sound card (I mean i have iLoud monitors connected to digitone and computer volume is turned off)

due to new user limit posting second screenshot here

The limit is not new.
