I can’t find any way to convert Pattern event into the new Midi part ? have I missed something …
would be great to use the midi loops with the new Drum Track editor and be able to use them as patterns

I don’t think it exists. You can do it the other way around, though. Hopefully they’ll add it, but probably it will require improvements to the pattern editor, because - I believe - right now if you’re using e.g. 16th grid, you can’t insert a continuous note that’s e.g. 1 beat long, which makes it pretty useless e.g. for bass lines of 303.
Both S1 and Logic can do that back & forth, so hopefully an update will add this
I thought so , I would be happy for it to grid the import midi , just be cool to edit midi loops in the new editor Thx
Hope they add this.
I sorely miss this function. I hope it will be added as soon as possible. In Studio One it’s a really cool solution, you move the mouse over an event. Click the right mouse button and select “Midi to Pattern”. The pattern editor also lacks an UNDO function.
I was going to take my old MIDI parts and convert them to patterns. I really wanted the functionality. As it’s been stated in this thread, it’s simple to do in S1. What a disappointment.
