I’m learning and trying out the use of several agents side by side. Acoustic Agent + Beat Agent + Percussion Agent. The following refers to GA5 standalone.
To save everything “save Multi-Program” does the general trick. But when you want to copy / drag and drop Pattern-Pads it is necessary to have a saved Midi-Pattern, so the Pattern gets copied too. Then the new Pad can be tweaked and worked on:

Is there a way to copy a Pad WITH its Pattern? Even when you didn’t save this Pattern as a Midi-file…

Why can I save a Midi-file BUT not save later made changes aswell into that → overwrite it?
