In Preferences/Record/Midi…

“ASIO Latency Compensation Active by Default” is NOT enabled as standard.

Can anyone explain why not? I rather thought you’d want compensation ON?

The same default settings was in Cubase 7.5 already (and probably even before - maybe ever).
